I had forgotten about this post until tonight when I received an unexpected email from an old friend. Allen Walker is an artist from my home state, Maine, working in all disciplines. This diptych is from his series, Now & Then We Linger / Stop Start. I had the pleasure of being asked to participate. This particular piece is strange to me in that I feel totally alien to it, despite being part of the subject matter. His work speaks for itself & can be seen below.

A carpet I wouldn’t mind having in my home; Richard Hutten’s aptly titled, Playing With Tradition, is pictured below.

I came across these a little while ago but never got around to posting them, so here they are.
Richard Barnes is a well traveled, published, exhibited in such esteemed institutions as the International Center of Photography, and resides in many collections including The Metropolitian Museum of Art, the Philadelphia Museum of Art, and the San Francisco Museum of Modern Art.
An impressive accomplishment by itself, I think his series, Murmur, is the best example of his success. He has a little write up offering an explanation on the series if you’re interested in reading it. Below are some of the images from said series.
