Little Book is a wonderful place. Keeping track of hourly espresso intake while at work? Poor attempts at poetry? Work schedules? To-do’s? All of them live harmoniously here…

it is a place where immediacy trumps spelling & grammar…

where momentarily relevant Daniel Johnston excerpts are celebrated and scrawled frequently…

eves-dropping is acceptable here, particularly when the humorous parts are documented…

and Kurt Vonnegut excerpts are okay, especially when written after previously mentioned bad poetry.

Every good thing has an end, Little Book is no different.

For the past few months I’ve been scanning in negatives in that I shot over the summer trying to get something together. I was at the right level of detachment tonight to finally do that and am pleased to announce the long-overdue update of leviward.com

Notable changes:

- 17 or so new images added
- image sets split into series (more soon to come)
- larger images (no, this does not mean they will look better on your myspace)
- copyright notices added to images (to address above issues, among others)

I’ve been strapped for time between being in a classroom & being in my place of work, so I’ve resorted to working around the time afforded to me on my lunch-breaks.

The photos below are the first three of many to come from the series I call, At Work. These are people who are at rest from their job, usually on lunch-breaks or just waiting to start their shift. These are also a self-portrait, in part, since I am taking these photos while I am also on break from work.
